Senior Welder-Assembler – Montreal, QC
Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Welder-Assembler to join a dynamic manufacturing team working in the industrial field. The selected individual will play a key role in the manufacturing of complex mechanical systems, in collaboration with engineering and production teams.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret plans and welding symbols.
Assemble and weld metal parts (TIG/GTAW, MIG/GMAW).
Actively participate in production and continuous improvement meetings.
Complete and sign inspection forms and ensure project compliance.
Estimate the time required for ongoing work.
Maintain a high level of safety, quality, and productivity.
Provide occasional customer service as needed.
Be available outside of regular hours if necessary.
Desired Profile
Minimum of 10 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Vocational training in assembly and welding.
Good knowledge of mechanical assembly, sheet metal work, plumbing, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Great autonomy and attention to detail.
Crane operator and WHMIS certifications (an asset).
