Senior Welder-Assembler – Montreal, QC

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Welder-Assembler to join a dynamic manufacturing team working in the industrial field. The selected individual will play a key role in the manufacturing of complex mechanical systems, in collaboration with engineering and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret plans and welding symbols.
  

• Assemble and weld metal parts (TIG/GTAW, MIG/GMAW).
  

• Actively participate in production and continuous improvement meetings.
  

• Complete and sign inspection forms and ensure project compliance.
  

• Estimate the time required for ongoing work.
  

• Maintain a high level of safety, quality, and productivity.
  

• Provide occasional customer service as needed.
  

• Be available outside of regular hours if necessary.
  

Desired Profile

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  

• Vocational training in assembly and welding.
  

• Good knowledge of mechanical assembly, sheet metal work, plumbing, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  

• Great autonomy and attention to detail.
  

• Crane operator and WHMIS certifications (an asset).
